About MHPAC

What Is MHPAC?
The Mobile Home Park Association of Canada (MHPAC) is a federally incorporated non-profit that brings together park owners across Canada to share real-world insights, improve operations, and strengthen the long-term sustainability of mobile home park communities.

Why Does MHPAC Exist?
Many mobile home park owners operate independently — without access to shared systems, operational benchmarks, or a peer network. MHPAC was created to change that: bringing operators together, supporting better decision-making, and building a more structured, data-driven approach to managing communities across Canada. This includes identifying opportunities to improve energy efficiency, reduce operating costs, and support more sustainable infrastructure across mobile home parks.Â

About the Founder
MHPAC was founded by Tanis Hazard, an experienced operator with a background in property management, bookkeeping, and multi-property portfolio operations across hotel and commercial real estate assets. While actively pursuing mobile home park acquisition, Tanis identified a clear gap in the industry — a lack of centralized systems, shared knowledge, and operational visibility. MHPAC is her response to that gap.
